Turn these shakers upside down and Pour your salt or pepper into the bottom. Make sure it goes in. Turn upright. Then shake your seasoning onto your food.
Do not submerge in water or put water in the inside, and not recommended for the dishwasher. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth if need.
